Reach for the Stars Gala: Celebrating 115 Years of Listening and Speaking

The DePaul School for Hearing and Speech was established in 1908 by the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill. Over the past 115 years, we have been dedicated to providing a voice to children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have severe speech delays. Our mission is to help these children succeed in a world that revolves around hearing and speaking.

About the Gala

DePaul School’s Reach For the Stars Gala celebrates our students’ success in a hearing and speaking world and is our largest fundraiser. This event aims to raise funds to ensure that all students continue to receive high-quality services. By supporting the Reach for the Stars Gala, donors can contribute directly to the students’ access to world-class programs without any financial burden on their families.

Only 60% of our operating costs are covered by our state subsidy so your support is vital in ensuring our students have access to the specialized education they need, like speech-language therapy, occupational/physical therapy, self advocacy, pragmatic language, and more.
