Audiology and Cochlear Implant Services

DePaul School for Hearing and Speech provides unparalleled pediatric audiological services through its full- service clinic. Our audiology suite offers the latest equipment to evaluate our student's hearing; program (map) their devices; and troubleshoot and repair hearing aids, cochlear implants, and Frequency Modulated (FM) systems.

Speech Therapy

All students at DePaul School receive intensive individual speech therapy as part of their educational program.

Physical & Occupational Therapy

DePaul School for Hearing and Speech provides physical and occupational therapy services on-site.

Auditory-Verbal Therapy

In Auditory-Verbal therapy, parents and caregivers actively participate in individual therapy sessions while working with a Certified LSLS therapist.

Telepratice

Teletherapy is ideal for families who are interested in a Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) approach for their child who is deaf or hard of hearing.  It’s a convenient alternative for those families who live more than 50 miles away from DePaul School and/or find it challenging to commute to the school’s Shadyside campus.

Health Office/School Nurse

DePaul School’s Health Office provides nursing care for students five days a week. Health Office services range from basic first aid to administering medication and managing chronic conditions.
