Auditory-Verbal Therapy

Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapists (LSLS, Cert. ATV) and Certified Auditory-Verbal Educators (LSLS, Cert. AVEd) are both considered Listening and Spoken Language Specialists (LSLS). In Auditory-Verbal therapy, parents and caregivers actively participate in individual therapy sessions while working with a Certified LSLS therapist. Through guidance, coaching, and demonstration of listening and spoken language therapy techniques, parents become the primary facilitators of their child’s spoken language development.
