DePaul School’s Health Office provides nursing care for students five days a week. Health Office services range from basic first aid to administering medication and managing chronic conditions.

24-Hour Fever-Free Rule
DePaul School abides by all Pennsylvania Department of Health and Department of Education guidelines, including the 24-Hour Fever Rule. If a child has been running a fever, the child is not to attend school until he or she has been fever free for at least 24 hours. Additionally, if the child has had antibiotics administered, he or she should receive a minimum of 24 hours worth of antibiotics and be fever free before returning to school.
